For BuckeyeThon volunteers, it’s not just about their important fundraising work. It’s about the instillation of philanthropy and community service.
As an official program of the Office of Student Life at Ohio State, and comprised of Ohio State students, the organization hosts events throughout the year to raise awareness and funds for the kids and families of Nationwide Children’s Hospital, specifically in the Hematology, Oncology, and Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit.
100 percent of dollars raised throughout the year directly fund life-saving treatments and services, innovative research, vital pediatric equipment, and important support for kids and families who could not otherwise afford these services.

What is Nationwide Children’s Hospital?
Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) is one of the nation’s largest nonprofit freestanding pediatric healthcare networks and partners with Ohio State’s Wexner Medical Center and James Cancer Hospital to provide collaborative care to patients.

What’s coming up for BuckeyeThon?
BuckeyeThon was founded in 1999 and has hosted its marquee fundraising event – Dance Marathon – each year since. The Miracle Network Dance Marathon is a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals) program that takes place at colleges all over the country. It raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals that support the health of 10 million kids each year across the U.S. and Canada. This year’s Dance Marathon will be hosted on November 8.
The money raised through Easton Town Center’s Change for Charity will go directly toward the organization’s annual fundraising total. 100 percent of dollars raised throughout the year support NCH’s Hematology, Oncology, and Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit.
You can support this important work by parking at one of the Change for Charity parking meters here at Easton, paying an Easton parking ticket, or making a donation directly to the organization.
Short Term Parking. Long Term Impact.
Our Change for Charity Program designates a new organization every two months to receive a portion of the meter proceeds and ticket revenue generated at Easton, allowing us to donate $2.1 million to over 85 organizations. Check out our list of past recipients here.
