JOB SUMMARY
Supports the store manager in maximizing store potential, achieving sales productivity goals and profitability as well as hiring, coaching, and developing associates as selling and style advisors. Works closely with the store manager to carry out corporate policies and assists with ensuring excellent J.Jill visual merchandising and operational standards. Acts in the capacity of Manager on Duty in absence of Store Manager and/or Co-Manager.

* Ability to clearly communicate goals and objectives to team

* Strong leadership qualities, training, and team building skills
* Excellent customer service skills with statistical track record in all areas of sales
* Experience in recruiting and retaining a talented sales and support team
* Strong communication and analytical skills
* Strong style and wardrobing skills
* Experience with Visual Merchandising and able to effectively lead a team of associates to complete visual/operational tasks
* Must have the availability to work during the majority of peak business periods, including Saturday and Sunday
* Entrepreneurial and creative
* 2+ years in women’s specialty retail, 1+ year(s) of management experience preferred
