One Influencer’s Guide to Easton

Share this post:

Meet Margo! Some of you may know her from Instagram as @margoskindoflife. Margo is a wife and mom of three young children who’s always on the go. As a Columbus local with a passion for fashion, fitness and fun, we connected with her to chat about why she enjoys Easton and what tips she has for visitors—whether it’s their first time at Easton or their fiftieth. Here’s what she had to say!

The Ideal Day at Easton

Margo says Easton is usually part of her weekly routine since all of the essentials for her family can be found in one convenient place. Her ideal day at Easton depends on what her goal for the day is. Is she going to shop, hang out with friends, spend time with the kids or having a date night?

Whether she goes in with a plan or not, she knows Easton has everything she needs to enjoy her day. From a wide selection of stores and restaurants to thoughtful amenities, “Easton is prepared for you,” she says.

Margo also says, “every time I visit Easton, there’s something new to discover,” noting that as a local she’s always pleasantly surprised by changes in seasonal décor, new stores to explore and more.

Taking the Kids to Easton

Family fun can be found around every corner at Easton! With plenty of kid-focused stores and activities, it’s easy to plan the perfect outing for the whole family. With two boys and a girl, Margo says she usually stops at LEGOLAND Discovery Center to let the kids express their creativity (and burn off some energy!). Then it’s off to lunch at Brio to refuel.

Margo’s insider tip is to head for the patio at Brio (it’s even heated in the fall) so the kids can admire the Easton train set. Then it’s off to the American Girl store, a must for every little girl (or boy). While you’re the North District, Margo recommends stopping by the Frog Fountain, a favorite place her kids love to visit. Planning a visit to Easton with the family soon? Check out even more great tips, here!

Insta-Worthy Easton

At Easton, we love making and sharing memories! From shopping and dining to center events and tons of entertainment options, we’re always striving to give our guests the best experience possible. And what better way to capture your memories than with some Instagram-worthy photos around Easton? As an influencer, Margo had a lot of amazing suggestions for where to capture picture-perfect photos to share. Some of her top recommendations are the floral designs around store entrances, the red phone booths, the Central Pak Fountain next to Tiffany & Co., and the Frog Fountain. For even more Insta-worthy photo-ops, take a look at these suggestions.

Making Memories at Easton

This year, we’re celebrating our 20th anniversary and we’ve been sharing our favorite memories all year long. We asked Margo to share some of her favorite Easton memories too. “From the time I was in high school, through college, I would meet my grandparents at Brio (table 88 to be specific) at 5 PM for dinner. This was our weekly tradition for years! When the very first iPhone came out, my Grandpa took me to the Apple Store and bought me my first phone. At the time, it was a very big deal, and a memory that sticks with me to this day!”

Thanks for taking the time to share your insider tips for exploring Easton with us, Margo!
