The self-proclaimed “Champions of Alpaca,” Pacas is on a quest to make the world’s coziest clothes. And with a full assortment of men’s, women’s, and kids’ socks, accessories, and even throw blankets, they’re well on their way.
When brothers Justin and Christian visited a children’s hospital and heard from the kids that the hospital socks left their feet feeling cold and itchy, the idea for Pacas was born. They began sourcing fabrics and fibers and discovered the buttery softness of alpaca wool…and the illustriousness of the animal itself.
What is so magical about Alpaca Fiber?
Alpaca fiber is…
- The greenest fiber
- Warmer than wool
- Soft as cashmere
- Moisture wicking
- Thermoregulating
- Hypoallergenic
…and because its hollow structure allows it to trap heat when it’s cold and keep cool when it’s warm, you can wear it all year round!
Where are they now?
As a mission-driven company, Pacas helps support the alpaca farming community to ensure “our wooly superstars can continue grazing into the future.” Pacas also partners with children’s hospitals across the country to provide kids with Pacas during their stays.
Located next to Dr. Martens in the North District, Pacas has opened their newest location here at Easton, offering men’s, women’s, and kids’ apparel, accessories, and of course, socks! Stop by and experience the magic.
