St. Vincent Family Services is deeply rooted in its commitment to supporting the well-being, safety and social-emotional health needs of children and their families across Ohio. They specialize in increasing positive behaviors in children, strengthening family relationships, and working with families affected by trauma. Their team of trusted experts reaches more than 8,000 children, families and community partners each year with a comprehensive, full-service range of behavioral health services.

Behavioral Health Services
SVFS offers families a comprehensive, full-service range of trauma-informed youth behavioral health services, including 24/7 residential care, foster care, day treatment programming, individual and family counseling, and in-home and in-school care – all guided by their behavioral health professionals.

SVFS focuses on improving positive behaviors through a strength-based approach to individual and family treatment, supporting children and families in achieving their greatest potential. They also partner with schools, early learning centers and community groups to promote a continuum of social-emotional health skills from kindergarten readiness to alcohol and drug prevention.

St. Vincent Prep Academy
St. Vincent Prep Academy is a trauma-informed, full-service accredited school that combines academics with behavioral health treatment for children from pre-school through elementary school. St. Vincent Prep Academy offers smaller class sizes and a teacher-to-child ratio proven to be ideal for every child to thrive.

The team of pediatric behavioral health experts includes teachers, behavioral specialists and clinicians who work together to provide comprehensive, individualized care to each student and family. At St. Vincent Prep Academy, students learn the social emotional skills needed to return to their home school able to successfully interact in the classroom and achieve their academic goals.

Foster Care
An estimated 27,000 children in Ohio need stable, consistent and loving homes. SVFS matches children in Ohio who need a place of respite and stability with foster parents who provide loving, nurturing temporary homes. They offer an intimate, family-oriented approach to supporting foster parents – they are by your side every step of the way. SVFS provides foster parents with expert training, 24/7 support, one-on-one-coaching, and access to all of their social-emotional health services and behavioral health experts to offer the support you need to foster a child.
