Where to Celebrate National Pizza Month at Easton

Share this post:

No matter how you slice it, pizza will always hold a special place in our hearts, and stomachs. Did you know Americans eat approximately 100 acres of pizza a day or about 350 slices per second? That’s a lot of pizza! October is National Pizza Month, and to help you celebrate, we’re dishing out some of our favorite places to grab a slice (or two) of pizza at Easton!

Pies & Pints – Easton Gateway

Pies and pints, a match made in foodie in heaven! It’s no wonder Pies & Pints was featured in the Food Network Magazine’s 50 Pizzas in 50 States and Huffington Post’s Top 20 Pizza Spots in the USA! Handmade crust, fresh ingredients and unique style is the secret sauce of each pizza. Pies & Pints also offers a wide collection of handcrafted beers from breweries all over the world. Since October is the month of Oktoberfest, we recommend the Oktoberfest Pie. Topped with sliced kielbasa caramelized onions, sliced green apples, sauerkraut, and finished with fresh thyme, oregano and a creamy grain mustard sauce, this pie with will have you saying “das ist gut!”

BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse – Easton Gateway

From deep dish to tavern cut, and even gluten-free, BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse has pizza for every taste! Meticulously crafted Chicago-style deep-dish with a Southern California twist is what BJ’s is known for. We recommend sinking your teeth into the Gourmet Five Meat, the Barbeque Chicken and the Vegetarian Deep Dish pizzas. If thin crust is more your style, BJ’s Tavern Cut will definitely satisfy your tastes. The Chicken Pesto Tavern-Cut Pizza is always a crowd favorite! No gluten, no problem – most of BJ’s pizza toppings are gluten-free and they even have a delicious gluten-free crust.

Rusty Bucket – Fenlon Square

Rusty Bucket is the perfect place to kick back and relax after a long day at work or hang out on the weekend with family and friends! Just like the friendly and familiar vibe of the restaurant, their delicious pizzas have a traditional flavor and flair, too. We recommend “The Big Sicilian” loaded with fresh pepperoni, Italian sausage, and capicola with mozzarella, provolone, peppers and caramelized onions. Can you say “Mangia Italiano”?!

Sbarro – The Station Building

Finally, if you’re looking for an easy (and cheesy) meal on the go, we suggest you check out Sbarro! With fresh ingredients and time-honored family recipes, Sbarro’s big slices and big flavors are sure to satisfy the hungriest and the pickiest eaters. From New York-style thin crust and gourmet deep dish pizzas, to zesty pastas and spicy specialty entrees, it’s no wonder there are over 1,000 locations worldwide, including one conveniently located in the Station Building at Easton.

With around 3 billion pizzas sold annually in the United States alone, it’s easy to say that pizza is definitely one of our favorite foods! Got a favorite pizza tradition or creation made at Easton? Tell is in the comments below!
