Guest Service Agent – Full-time
Create and maintain a guest-driven hotel that exceeds guest expectations at the Front Desk and Food and Beverage Operations. Ensure guest satisfaction through consistent delivery of both quality product and service in accordance with the hotel’s profitability goals while fulfilling the value requirements of the guest. Protect the financial assets of the hotel by following Internal Audit standards that are in place. Follow proper cash handling procedures as outlined in the Aloft standards. Responsible for all moneys issued to you. Establish credit control with guests, monitor high balances. Complete training of PMS system, POS Menu, steps of service, brand requirements etc. Build confidence by role playing and become the best guest enthusiast and be knowledgeable of the Easton area restaurants, activities, shops and make recommendations to improve the guest experience. Complete training of service standards in required timeframe. Work with Operation managers for your progress and together develop a plan to continue to improve confidence and delivering outstanding service. Bring positive high energy culture that promotes excellence, team work, and open communication. Attend all team meetings and share your important feedback in a timely fashion with the spirit of improving guest and team member experiences. Strive to reduce turnover, evaluate why it’s happening and find ways to positively impact. Actively participate in the day to day operation of hotel include checking guests in/out and supporting food and beverage service where needed. Deliver on the Brand’s loyalty program and all other Brand initiatives / trainings. Perform above the Brand Guest Satisfaction Scores(GSS) by monitoring guest feedback on Guest Satisfaction Surveys, Trip Advisor etc. track trends that surface. Utilize findings to put actions in place to eliminate future guest issues, recognize outstanding feedback, personally connect with guests complaints to come to a positive resolution. Make sure excellent customer service is provided throughout all steps of reservation, check-in/out process and steps of service in food & beverage areas. Build a culture where Elite members are recognized, find ways to surprise and delight our guests. Ensure you are knowledgeable of the hotel, its amenities, Easton Town Center and area businesses
Execute banquet event orders. Step into operation roles at any Easton Hotel when necessary, lead by example. Maintain property condition, cleanliness, and quality of product and service throughout the hotel. Be knowledgeable of the Brand Quality Inspections to contribute to achieve outstanding results. Ensure you are trained and knowledgeable in life safety, emergency procedures, TIPS training, equipment is maintained etc.

Room Attendant – Full-time
To clean and stock guest rooms, ensuring that all guests are given professional and courteous service, while maintaining Aloft Marriott standards of cleanliness. Clean guest rooms assigned daily in a timely manner. Cleaning to Marriott Standards; including all areas of guest room and bathroom while properly using chemicals. Take care of guest be-longings in stay over rooms as well as lost and found items in checked out rooms. Handle special requests for guests to include, but not limited to, getting extra towels, blankets, etc. Perform daily cleaning projects as directed by the Operations Manager. Example: deep cleaning, VIP rooms. Stock the room attendant cart with supplies and clean linen in accordance with set standards. Keep carts clean and organized per Aloft Columbus Standards. Communicate to floor supervisors or housemen when you are out of any required equipment/amenities. Upon vacating the room, check the room and make sure it is completely clean. Push and pull vacuums throughout the entire room, clean the entrance last. On your board mark all check out rooms “Vacant Cleaned” and all stay over rooms “Occupied cleaned” after the room is cleaned to our Marriott Standards. Report all mechanical, structural, and electrical defects to your supervisor or Engineering. Report any defects, including the linen and curtains to the super-visor for correction.

AM Houseperson FT
Responsible for general cleaning duties and a variety of cleaning tasks in public areas, suites, and grounds. Assist in the removal of linen and waste from rooms.
Empty room attendant carts of dirty linen and trash throughout the day. Vacuum and sweep hallways & stairwells, sweep & mop vending areas, public areas, pool deck and foyers.
Restock room attendant closets with soap, shampoo, trash liners, room collateral, empty trash & linen bags from carts, return glassware & silverware, etc. to the kitchen, Move all coffee mugs and room glassware to the kitchen for washing and return to room attendant closets. Patrol the hotel grounds and parking lots disposing of any trash, cigarette butts, straightening all courtyard furniture, emptying ashtrays and exterior trash cans.
Maintain public restroom throughout the shift ensuring that adequate paper products and soap are available, commodes and sinks are clean & well maintained, floors are swept & mopped and trash emptied.
Make room deliveries in a timely manner as directed by the Housekeeping or Front Desk Supervisors to include extra linens, irons, amenities, cribs, rollaway, etc., and report back to Front Desk upon completion. Maintain lobby area by ensuring front doors are free of any handprints, vacuum front entrance, vestibule carpet and lobby carpet, wipe down glass-top tables & empty ashtrays at front door. Maintain elevators to insure that carpet is vacuumed and elevator door tracks are clean & free of debris, wood is polished and upper portion of elevator walls are free of dust. Replace air fresheners as needed or directed by a Supervisor. Ensure that break room is serviced on a daily basis to include mopping of floor & emptying trash. Clean the restroom in the break room on a daily basis.

Aloft Grab and Go Market Attendant (WEEKEND AVAILABILITY)
Preparation of all food and beverage items for WXYZ Bar, REFUEL G&G, Tactic Meeting Room. Cleaning & restocking of wares, equipment, and the dining area in REFUEL.
Preparing necessary hot & cold foods for the REFUEL, WXYZ Bar, & meeting spaces. Serving and/or storing these items in accordance with proper health-department standards. Restock any purchased items as necessary. Note and report any food and/or beverage items that you may be running low on for reordering. Properly use all equipment and systems including, but not limited to: Automated Espresso machine, TurboChef oven, Micros, 3-compartment sink and all other basic kitchen equipment. This is a fast-paced environment and you will need a thorough understanding and working knowledge of all equipment. Actively Communicate with Guests, Team Members, and Management to ensure guest satisfaction is of the highest levels. Clear and accurate use of the English language is to be used at all times. REFUEL Market Attendant Team Members must also be cross-trained at the Front Desk to assist both departments during high-volume periods. When the Bistro is slow, you are expected to monitor the rest of the lobby and help where needed (front desk, telephones, cleaning, etc.) Maintain and clean the equipment to ensure it stays sanitary, clean and in well-maintained order. Maintain an organized dishwasher and/or pot sink station with the usage of proper chemicals outlined by our supplier, cleaning all dirty dishes, pots & pans as necessary. Working use of sanitary standards throughout shift. Assist in the setup, breakdown, and servicing of the meeting room. Ability to work long days When required for meeting room functions. Ability to handle multi-tasking to adequately serve guests in the lobby and meeting spaces. Maintain a clean and organized Refuel, Meeting Rooms and Kitchen areas at all times. Ensure all cleaning is done to the highest of expectations at the end of each shift, including breaking down and cleaning all equipment, removal of dirty dishes, taking out the trash, sweeping, mopping, and any other tasks requested by your supervisor or MOD. Use of production charts, usage records, temperature logs, and any other related documentation to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the kitchen & Refuel area. Have a strong working knowledge of food safety practices, including proper cooking and holding temperatures, as well as cleaning and sanitation procedures. Adhere to sanitation guidelines to include the use of gloves and frequent hand washing.
