While we all dream of unlimited time to browse the racks of our favorite stores at Easton to find the perfect shirt (in our favorite color and the right size!), this isn’t always possible with life’s busy schedule.

Thankfully, in today’s digital age, we have the flexibility to shop when (and how) we want.

With the ability to buy online and pick up in store, you can find all of your favorite clothes from the comfort of your home, or during downtime at the office! Then, all you have to do is simply drop by the store to pick up your items, try them on and take them home.  It’s truly the best of both worlds!

The list of stores offering “buy online with in-store pick up” is expansive and growing, and Easton tenants are making it easier than ever to pick out the perfect styles online while still being able to ensure a great experience, and proper fit, in store.

We got with our resident shopping expert, TrendE, to discuss her take on the online shopping and in-store pick up trend. Here’s what she had to say.

What do you love most about the ability to buy online and pick items up in-store?

I love knowing the availability of the item prior to stepping in the store. Plus, if I’m in a hurry, I don’t have to take time hunting down the item or size.

Which Easton stores can you buy from online and pick up in-store?

By no means is this a complete list, but here is a short rundown of the stores I know have buy online or reserve in-store online capabilities: Macy’sDick’s Sporting Goods, Zumiez, Foot LockerApple, GapAmerican Eagle, HollisterJ. CrewBanana Republicand both Nordstrom and Expresseven have a parking spot just for shoppers who are stopping in to pick up an order in store. If you want a full list, I’d recommend going to each store’s website.

What type of items are you most likely to buy online?

I’m most likely to buy clothes online, but still appreciate the ability to try the items on in store. We all know that the way garments fit varies from store to store, as does the quality, so to reserve items online and interact with them in store is great. Plus, if I find something I’ve ordered isn’t for me, I can return it right then and there, look for something in store with a similar fit, or order something new altogether.

Do you have any other tips when shopping online and reserving an item in store?

If you’re in a hurry or need an item at the last minute, make sure you read the reviews for how the item fits, what materials it is made of, etc. It’s also a good idea to order the item in two different sizes if you’re unsure. You can try it on in their fitting room and pick the size that works best! Nordstrom also offers expedited shipping, so if you’re REALLY in a crunch for the perfect outfit, they’ll get the job done!
