Tax-Free Weekend is August 5-7, 2022

Get your back-to-school shopping shoes on and get ready to run to Easton this weekend!

August 5-7, 2022, is Ohio’s annual Tax-Free weekend. What does this mean? You can shop many back-to-school items without paying a sales and use tax!

The following items are exempt from sales and use tax:
• Clothing priced at $75 per item or less
• School supplies priced at $20 per item or less
• School instructional material priced at $20 per item or less

There is no limit to how many tax-exempt items you can buy.

For a more specific list of items included and excluded from the tax holiday, and any other questions you may have, visit the State of Ohio’s website.
