Since 1999, we’ve been trying to explore every inch of Easton to give our visitors convenient ways to enjoy all we have to offer. But with so much going on at any given time, it can feel like you’re not even scratching the surface of the Easton experience! To make things a little easier on you, we’re giving you the inside scoop on the best hidden experiences at Easton – from Easton Way to the Town Square and everywhere in between.

Free Parking

You might not pick up a bunch of blue $50 bills, but if you land in one of these spots, you’ll have a little extra spending money in your wallet. Easton has over 9,000 free parking spots, 7,500+ in the Town Center and 1,800+ at Easton Gateway. If you’re thinking green and happen to drive your electric car to Easton, we’ve got you covered there, too. Visitors can take advantage of electric vehicle parking on the second level of the East Parking Garage and at Easton Gateway in the parking lot between The Container Store and REI. But don’t worry if you opt for the paid metered parking, as all of the proceeds go right back into the community thanks to our Change for Charity initiative.

Hidden Easton Experiences

Get the most out of your next trip with some of these tips, tricks and activities.

During the summer months, CorePower Yoga has an instructor lead a free outdoor yoga class at the Easton Gateway fountain. It’s a lot like the better-known morning yoga class, just in some fresh air under the sun.

Did you know every Tuesday you can head to AMC Easton 30 and see a movie for just $5? If you can’t make it for the $5 Ticket Tuesday deal, you can also sign up for MoviePass, an awesome service that allows you to see unlimited movies at Easton for just $10 a month.

Don’t feel like you can’t get in on the hidden fun just because you have little ones to look after. Life Time Fitness offers Parents Night Out services every Saturday night. For just $20, they’ll look after your kids from 5-9 PM. With fun themes, pizza parties and new friends to meet, they’ll have just as much fun as you do!

There are so many other little nuances to enjoy at Easton, too. Borrow a Book, The Easton Express Railway, The District for Family Fun, Valet ParkingGuest Services and The Easton Trolley are all covered extensively in this awesome blog post.

Hidden Easton Deals

Trader Joe’s sells great greeting cards for only $1, so the next time you’re there stock up on a few extra anniversary and birthday cards so you have them when you need them most! Speaking of birthdays, pop into Kendra Scott during your birthday month and receive 50% off one item (just don’t forget your ID). While you’re at it, if you’re a Sephora Beauty Insider, hop across the street to pick up your free birthday gift!

When it’s time for a little treat, head into See’s Candies where you’ll always receive a free piece of chocolate! If that doesn’t quell your craving, you can always purchase individual truffles for less than a dollar. What a great way to keep from over indulging during the day while not breaking the bank.

Many stores at Easton offer reserve online and pick up in store services. That way you have easy access to exchange items that don’t fit quite right and can pick out the perfect styles online while still being able to ensure a great experience, and proper fit, in store.

Hidden Easton Food Experiences

It’s time to spill the beans on the most delicious secrets of all. We had a ton of fun and ended up with full bellies after discovering all of the hidden experiences that Easton’s dining tenants have to offer. Get ready to dig into something new!

There’s no better feeling than that first sip of a long-awaited coffee. However, waiting in line at Starbucks can sometimes be a deterrent if you’re in a bind for time. Our tip is to head to the Starbucks inside Barnes & Noble, as it rarely ever has a line.

Northstar Café gets crowded at lunch, so you might be wondering how you can skip the line and get right to the good part. We suggest calling in your order beforehand, that way you can simply walk up to the register, pay and sit down to enjoy your lunch period in peace. If you forgot to call ahead, you can always grab a spot at an open bar seat! Bartenders can take food orders along with a drink order and deliver it right to your seat when it’s ready.

A couple of other tenants that offer great online ordering services are Panera and Piada. They use online reward programs that allow you to track reward points without having to carry around and remember to scan a card.

Taqueria inside Whole Foods offers a downright delectable deal on Tuesdays. They take Taco Tuesday to the next level with their $2 tacos. The perfect combination of value, convenience and flavor make this a hidden experience you’ll want to turn into a habit.

If you’re in the Columbus area and in a pinch for time, try these spots for a quick and delicious bite to eat:

·      Nordstrom eBar – Their pre-made salads are reasonably priced and don’t skimp on flavor.

·      Trader Joe’s – They’ve got pre-made salads, sandwiches and soups that are friendly for your wallet.

·      Lifetime Café – Their lightning-fast service makes seeing a line here pretty rare.

·      Whole Foods – Their lunch buffets will make your wallet and your stomach happy. If the line near the café is long, head over to one of the regular check-out lines on the other side of the store.

·      BIBIBOP – They offer free Miso Soup with the purchase of an entree. If you want to make your packed lunch more enticing, you can grab a warm bowl od rice fro 60 cents to a dollar.

If you’re looking for some specific food and drink items to try out, consider these:

·      Pomegranate Iced Tea at the eBar in Nordstrom

·      Mint Iced Coffee and the Buddha Bowl + Chicken at Northstar Café

·      Egg Bites at Starbucks

·      Field Fresh Chopped Salad with Grilled Chicken at Trader Joe’s
