Easton Trolley – Serving Guests and Community

Since 2001, the Easton Trolley has been serving guests who visit Easton Town Center.

Did you know the trolley has also served the Greater Columbus community? Each year, the Easton trolley participates in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure by carrying breast cancer survivors. It has also been a featured part in The Ohio State University Homecoming Parades (you can see the trolley on October 9th). Recently, the Easton trolley participated in the Minerva Park Association’s 75th Anniversary Parade. It was used to carry veterans who live in the community through the parade. In the past, the trolley has carried the Daughters of Erin in the Columbus Annual St. Patrick’s Day parade, as well as local dignitaries and veterans in the Bexley and Northland Area 4th of July parades and the Canal Winchester Labor Day parade.

These are some of the small, yet large ways the Easton trolley helps support the community.
And the best part? Each time guests make a donation when riding the trolley, those donations help benefit the Easton Community Foundation. The Easton Community Foundation has donated $5,000,000.00 to organizations throughout Central Ohio. In 2012, Easton received the ‘Benefactor of the Year’ award for it’s constant dedication to giving back to the community. (To learn more about the Easton Community Foundation, click here.)  Whether it’s through the trolley participating in community events, the change for charity program, or parking ticket fees going directly to the Easton Community Foundation, Easton is committed to supporting the community it serves.
