LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Columbus Coming to Easton
If you didn’t think your Easton experience could get any more fun, think again. LEGOLAND® Discovery Center is coming exclusively to Easton Town Center in Fall 2018! That’s right, next year the brick building will get even better. Whether you want to bring your kids out for some fun, or bring the kid out in yourself, everyone is sure to discover loads of LEGO® love at the first LEGOLAND Discovery Center in the state of Ohio.
The unique indoor attraction based on the popular LEGO brick will begin construction next summer on a brand new $10 million educational play center in Columbus. Located in the Station Building adjacent to AMC Easton 30, LEGOLAND will be right in the heart of Easton. The 36,000-square-foot attraction will be a premier destination for guests of all ages when it opens next year.
Specifically designed for families with children aged 3-10, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Columbus will offer a fun, highly interactive and educational indoor experience that could last all day! The attraction will have a range of exciting LEGO play areas, two interactive rides, master classes from the LEGO Master Model Builder, special party rooms for birthdays and other celebrations and a 4D cinema. We’re getting excited just telling you about it!
Did we mention the popular MINILAND area found in every LEGOLAND Discovery Center? MINILAND reflects the iconic buildings of each individual attraction’s location, and the local community will have a chance to nominate Ohio-area landmarks in a contest to be announced at a later date.
“LEGOLAND Discovery Center is a regional destination that draws LEGO enthusiasts of all ages, and we here at Easton look forward to welcoming the legions of LEGO fans who want to experience the ultimate indoor playground,” said Jennifer Peterson, Chief Executive of Easton.
You can even top off your day of LEGO-filled fun with a trip to The LEGO Store in the North District.
