Holiday Events at Easton


We have plenty of reasons to be excited about the holiday season at Easton! With the weather getting even cooler and Christmas music filling the air, it’s time to get your family into the holiday spirit! Are you looking for things to do in Columbus during the most wonderful time of the year? Whether you want to stay warm with some kid-friendly indoor activities, or bundle up and enjoy outdoor holiday celebrations, November and December at Easton are looking very merry and bright.

Holiday Lighting Ceremony | November 17

It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season, and it’s only at Easton! Help us celebrate the simple and unexpected joys of Christmas at the 2017 Holiday Lighting Ceremony on November 17 at 6:30 PM! Watch children’s eyes sparkle as Santa arrives, with a special guest, to illuminate Easton’s beautiful brand-new digital Christmas tree, and finish the evening off with a memorable visit with Santa on Level 2. Don't forget to text “easton” to 313131 to receive special offers for that evening right to your phone!





 

 

Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides | November 17-December 23

Make magical memories with your loved ones as you dash through the streets of Easton's North District! Horse-drawn carriage rides will be offered every weekend during the holiday season, starting after the Holiday Lighting Ceremony and ending on December 23 (weather permitting). Rides are $10 per person and free for children under 15 with a paying adult. Pick up is located between Zara and Rusty Bucket.







St. Stephen’s Gingerbread Houses | Through December 20 

Stop by the St. Stephen’s Gingerbread Houses to vote for your favorite designs and be entered into a drawing for a $150 shopping spree at Easton! Located across from Bibibop on Level 2, this is a wonderful way to keep the kids occupied as you wait for your turn to see Santa. To vote, text "SSCHGingerbread" and the number of your favorite gingerbread creation to 22333 or post a photo of your favorite gingerbread creation on Facebook or Instagram and tag St. Stephen's Community House. Photos with Santa |November 17-December 24

Santa Claus is back and ready for some photos…without the long lines! You can shop, dine or walk around while you save your place in line to visit the North Pole. Check in with Santa’s Helpers on Level 2 of the Station Building to enter our virtual line and receive a text when it’s your family’s turn to see Santa. Check out Santa’s Photo Hours below and click here for more information. 

• Monday-Saturday: 10 AM-9 PM. Breaks at 1-1:45 PM and 4:45-5:30 PM.

• Sunday: 11 AM-7 PM. Break at 3-4 PM.

• December 24: 9 AM-5 PM.


 

Letters to Santa Mailbox | November 17-December 24

Located on Level 2 near Santa Photos, children can write letters to Santa while they wait to get their picture taken with him. Stationary will be provided, but children can also to bring their own letters from home.

 

Holiday Entertainers | November 17-December 24

What better way to get into the holiday spirit than with live holiday entertainment as you shop around Easton? Enjoy professional music groups – including a brass quartet, carolers and an a capella group – who will animate Easton with unique entertainment for holiday guests. Let the kids sing along as you groove to holiday tunes!

The Christmas Tree Show | November 17-The Holiday Season

Experience a one-of-a-kind light display that will have your whole family ooh-ing and ahh-ing. Starting at dusk, stop by the tree at the top and bottom of every hour to enjoy custom light shows on our brand-new 56-foot Christmas tree. To truly understand the magic of the Christmas Tree show, you have to see it to believe it!

2017 Run Santa Run 5K | December 3

Time to work off all the milk and cookies from last year to make room for more this year with the Run Santa Run 5K on December 3 at 9:30 AM! Enjoy a 5K filled with holiday cheer throughout Easton Town Center. All runners receive a Sole Clothing Co. vintage tee, a medal that you'll surely want to show off this holiday season on your tree, a Santa hat, hot chocolate, beer and a cookie.

 

Complimentary Holiday Photos | December 9 & 16

Get the whole family into the holiday spirit with complimentary holiday photos! Join us at the Central Park Fountain on December 9 & December 16 from 5-8 PM for the perfect seasonal photo-op! Capture memories that will last a lifetime with us during the most wonderful time of the year.

Toy Drive with 10 TV | December 14

It’s time to load up the car and embrace the season of giving! Show the kids what Christmas spirit is all about with the 10 TV Toy Drive! Bring toys to the 10 TV station (770 Twin Rivers Dr, Columbus, OH 43215) for donation, and the first 20 families to donate will receive a gift card to various Easton stores!

 

 

 

Chanukah Celebration | December 16

Join Easton and Chabad of Columbus for a special menorah lighting at the Town Square on December 16 at 8 PM. This Chanukah Celebration complete with sufganiyot, dreidels, raffle prizes, music, dancing and refreshments is one you won’t want to miss!

Giving is Always in Fashion | December 16

Didn’t you know giving is always in fashion? Join Easton and The Salvation Army for an afternoon of fundraising and entertainment. Look for the Red Kettles that will be placed throughout Easton, and enjoy music from roving musicians while interacting with celebrity bell ringers!
