Behind The Rooms@Easton
The newest educational exhibit has finally hit Easton: Rooms@Easton! Produced by COSI, this mysterious exhibit not only engages your senses, but allows you to investigate intriguing science concepts at the same time. The Rooms themselves are five individually themed and interactive illusions meant to spark your curiosity and prove that science is, in fact, for everyone!
If you haven’t experienced it yet, be sure to plan a trip before it’s gone. The exhibit will only be here through early May. The best part about this exhibit is admission is free to the public! Here’s a sneak preview of what you can expect when you visit the Rooms@Easton.
The Optical Illusion Room
As you make your way through the exhibit, you’ll enter the Optical Illusion Room, where you’ll immerse yourself in a wall-to-wall optical illusion, tricking your brain to see motion where there is none.
The Blue Block Room
You’ll then make your way into the Blue Block Room, which will make you use your imagination and engage in hands-on structure engineering with blue building blocks.
The White Room
Contribute to this science experiment by transforming what was once an all-white space with fun colored stickers! This fun space was inspired by Yayoi Kusama’s The obliteration room. Come explore illusions, be part of a social experiment and and see your surroundings in a new light!
The Reflection Room
You’ll experience how parallel mirrors produce an infinity effect using reflection and light.
The Light Room
Last but not least, you’ll enter the Light Room, where you’ll experience how different colored lights affect the colorful room around you.
We are ecstatic to have COSI on site as we celebrate our 20th anniversary. We know The Rooms will be an educational and fun attraction for adults and kids of all ages. The Rooms@Easton are located on Level 1 of the Easton Station Building. Hours are:
