It’s a beautiful summer to sit out on the patio and enjoy good food with great friends. Mitchell’s Ocean Club not only has a nice outdoor patio, but delicious dishes for any time of day.
Looking to enjoy a refreshing drink and a small bite during happy hour? Try a Cucumber Gimlet cocktail and Tuna Tartare Tacos. Want to be wowed during dinner? Start with the Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli followed by the Chilean Sea Bass. Finish off your night with something sweet like their Warm Butter Cake. You can check out more Mitchell’s Ocean Club specialties by exploring their menu.
In the mood for a premium burger? Stop by Smith & Wollensky for lunch and take a bite out of Wollensky’s Butcher Burger—it’s ground filet folks, and it comes with fries and coleslaw.
Another favorite of mine is Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant. The food here is consistently delicious and they have much to choose from, including my favorite Bolognese, the Gnocchi Bolognese with Braised Short Ribs, and a great new appetizer, Candied Bacon & Artisan Cheeses.
Just looking for a drink and a little something to whet your appetite? Go to McCormick & Schmick’s and try the winning drink from the Easton Battle of the Bartenders, Jason’s Irish Julep with some deliciously divine Shrimp Kisses!
Beau Arnason, Executive Vice President of Asset Performance at Easton
Looking to upgrade your French fries? Try Beau’s favorite fries at Nordstrom Café and add the olive dipping sauce. Or grab the Fish Sandwich at Northstar Café, featuring a grilled filet of barramundi with lettuce, tomato, red onion and fresh herb aioli.
Andrea Koch, Easton’s Tenant Coordinator
Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant is back on the list as the best spot for dinner and happy hour. Andrea says: “Everything there I’ve tried is wonderful, but if I had to pick my favorites they would be the Shrimp and Scallop Risotto and the Parmesan Crusted Chicken. Plus, it doesn’t matter how many people are in your group, they have something for everyone. And, while you wait, you can enjoy the wine bar and chocolates with your wine flight.”
Kristin Scott, Easton MomE
Head back to Northstar Café to try their breakfast. MomE’s favorite is the Granola Bowl.
Try Condado during lunch for a fresh new take on the craft taco scene and simple customization. Kristin says: “I love that you can change it up each time you go. You really can’t go wrong, and the guacamole is a must!”
End your day with something sweet at J Alexander’s. Ask for the dessert menu and order their Carrot Cake and a glass of wine to pair with it.
Emily Frey, Executive Assistant at Easton
Looking for some healthy Asian-inspired dishes? Head over to Kona Grill for sushi or build your own bowl or roll at Bibibop. Emily recommends trying the veggie bowl with their signature purple rice. She says it’s “healthy, hearty and cheap too!”
Other than enjoying some of her favorites, Emily’s dining tip to you is to make reservations ahead of time (if possible). It can never hurt, and you can usually find most restaurants on OpenTable.
Kelly Russell, Marketing Coordinator at Easton
“Try Piada!,” Kelly says. “It’s great because you can order online, add modifications to your dish, and skip to the front to pick it up. My favorite is the Summer Avocado Piada with added crispy chicken.”
